Von Heidecke's Dance Center to host Summer Intensive

The program includes pre-ballet, classical ballet, musical theater, and jazz/lyrical, with instruction by professional artists who have performed nationally and internationally.
Dancers of all ages and levels are invited to participate in Von Heidecke’s Dance Center’s Summer Intensive, beginning on June 4, 2015. The program culminates in the Summer Workshop performance Sunday, August 9, 2015, which is open to the public, and all parents, relatives, and friends.
The Von Heidecke Dance Center is located in Naperville, Illinois where dancers begin instruction as young as three years of age. Programs are offered for students seeking recreation and fun, and also aspiring dancers seeking classical ballet training under the Balanchine style.
The program includes pre-ballet, classical ballet, musical theater, and jazz/lyrical, with instruction by professional artists who have performed nationally and internationally. Instructors include Randy Herrera, who has performed internationally, and is a former member of the Joffrey Ballet, as well as principal dancer for the Houston ballet. Darrell Dautrieve is a former dancer with the Dallas Ballet, who has performed internationally, as well as in productions at the Lyric Opera. Pat Michalowski is a former member of the Lyric Opera Ballet Company, who often partnered with Kenneth Von Heidecke, and studied under George Ballanchine, and Prima Ballerina Assoluta Maria Tallchief.
There is a tuition call for specific rates.
