We are offering two history crawls in June with brand new interpretations at each site. On the June 1st Crawl, we will stop at the Gladys Fox Museum, Lockport Area Genealogical and Historical Society, Will County Historical Museum and Research Center, The Gaylord Building, and of course, the White Oak Library where this tour will kick off. Attendees will be able to learn about each location’s historical significance to Lockport all while enjoying alcoholic beverages at some of the stops. Attendees must be 21 years old or older to participate. A total of four drinks will be served. $20.00 cash must be prepaid at the Library Reference Desk at the White Oak Library-Lockport Branch.
This crawl will kick-off at 5:00pm at the White Oak Library-Lockport Branch and will run until 7:30pm, ending at The Gaylord Building. The crawl will be on Thursday, June 1st.
