Twenty-six Joliet West High School athletes signed letters of intent to continue their athletic careers at the collegiate level at a ceremony on May 15 at 7pm in the Joliet West High School Auditorium.
Joliet West Athletic Director Steve Millsaps and coaches were present to introduce and recognize the twenty-six student athletes in the school's auditorium. "These students are dedicated to their education and athletics," said Millsaps. "I am extremely proud of each and every one of them." Students who signed letters of intent at the ceremony include: Austin Poch - Wrestling, Joliet Junior College; Brittany Aguirre - Soccer, Bethany Lutheran College in MN; Corey Jones - Football, College of DuPage; DeShonte Smith - Softball, Mississippi Valley State University; Drew Smith - Football, Central College in Iowa; Eastin May - Baseball, John A.
