Amazon has announced that it will create more than 120,000 holiday worker positions this season across its U.S. network of fulfillment centers, sortation centers and customer service sites.
In years past, many of those jobs have lead to permanent full-time jobs at the end of the holidays and the company expects to continue that trend this year.
The Amazon hiring blitz will take place across the U.S. and will include jobs at their Illinois locations including those in Will County which includes fulfillment centers in Joliet, Romeoville, Aurora, Monee and Crest Hill.
The company employs more than 125,000 regular, full-time employees at Amazon’s more than 75 fulfillment centers across the country to help pick, pack and ship customers’ holiday orders.
