State Representative Mark Batinick (R-Plainfield) will host a free senior fair in Plainfield on Thursday July 12.
“This is the annual senior resource fair which I host to help our local seniors find out about ways to find assistance in a number of areas, both government and non-government,” Batinick said.
The free event will be at St. Mary’s, located at 15629 Route 59 in Plainfield from 9 a.m. until noon on July 12. It will include door prizes and refreshments, along with displays and booths from several agencies and groups dedicated to serving local seniors. There will also be a free shred truck on site until 11 a.m., and those wishing to take advantage of its services are asked to bring up to two paper bags per car.
