Dear Editor,

Kinzinger voted against the impeachment inquiry. Am I the only one in IL-16 who thinks this is wrong?

I believe no one is above the law, not even Trump. I’ve written to Kinzinger repeatedly asking him to hold Trump to account. Once in a while Kinzinger will write me back, always with the same form letter. Perhaps others in IL-16 have gotten the letter. In it Kinzinger says that what Trump has done does not rise to the standard required for impeachment.

If that is the case, why is Kinzinger not willing to do an investigation? If indeed Kinzinger is right, an impeachment inquiry would vindicate him.

Instead of addressing the question whether Trump’s misdeeds rise to the standard required for impeachment, Kinzinger cowers.

Am I the only one in IL-16 who thinks this is wrong?
