A key component of the Mission and Vision of Valley View School District is to initiate and develop partnerships with organizations that serve the VVSD community. Goal 4, Strategy 7 of the VVSD Strategic Plan states:

We will build reciprocal partnerships with community members, businesses, and organizations to improve access to high quality learning opportunities for our students.

The VVSD Community Schools Initiative is based on the reality that schools are trusted, focal points of the communities they serve, and schools can be community delivery points for needed supports. VVSD is honored to be supported in the Community Schools Initiative by several businesses and organizations that have provided donations. The following is a brief summary of the contributions received since the start of the 2019-20 school year.
