JTHS invites businesses and community to Partnership Program

Joliet Township High School invites business representatives and members of the Joliet community to attend the Partnership Program Recruitment event on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at the JTHS District Administrative Center, 300 Caterpillar Drive in Joliet, IL. Guests have the option to attend the breakfast session from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. or the lunch session from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Brett Marcum, Director of Strategic Partnerships, said, "At Joliet Township High School, we are committed to providing real-world experiences to students in a variety of career fields.

The participation of local business and community leaders plays a crucial role in our efforts to prepare students for life after high school." The presentations will focus on current programs and opportunities for community members to support the young people of JTHS in their exposure to career opportunities within our community.

The commitment for these programs could be anything from giving time to work with students in our buildings to sponsoring dual enrollment tuition so that students can obtain advanced training in specific career areas. Food will be provided to guests at both sessions, and staff will be available to answer questions as they arise.
