Illinois Department of Public Health reports 6,923 Coronavirus cases in Will County

The number of reported coronavirus cases in Will County totaled 6,923 on Sunday and the number of reported deaths from the virus was listed at 320, according to the Illinois Department of Public Health.
The IDPH reported 1474,251 total Coronavirus cases statewide, and reported 7,020 deaths from the virus. More than 1.76 million people had been tested for the virus as of Sunday and the recovery rate from COVID-19 in Illinois was listed at 94 percent, according to the IDPH.
Illinois is currently in Phase 4 of the five-phase Restore Illinois Plan and many more businesses have started to reopen.
Gov. J.B. Pritzker's administration has been working to expand COVID-19 testing capability across the state. There are currently three state-run drive-thru testing sites in Evanston, Pekin, and Markham along with dozens of other testing sites at health centers in every region of the state.
